A Year Later

Wednesday, September 8th, 2010

This day a year ago I wrote the first post on the blog. I have read somewhere that most blogs don’t make it through a single year, so for me it was a goal and a personal challenge to do what most don’t have the perseverance to do. It has been a very good experience, but now that I’ve accomplished what I have set out to do, I have decided to not continue with daily blog posts.

That said, I will continue to provide support for Affirmation Triggers. I still believe that it’s a valuable service, and since it is pretty much automated, it’s not a lot of effort to keep it going. No changes on this front.

Spiritual Mind Treatment (09.07.2010)

Tuesday, September 7th, 2010

Join me in knowing that everything in the Universe is made from the same basic ‘stuff’ and I call this ‘stuff’ Energy. Energy cannot be created or destroyed – it can only change form. This flow of Energy into form, through from, and out of form must be governed by a precise natural Law. This Law, like all other Laws in the Universe, do not require my approval, my understanding, or my co-operation. Laws are always in effect and this one is no exception. Law simply responds to the stimulus – anytime, anywhere, and for everyone. Understanding the Universal Laws helps me work with them, rather than against them. I recognize that my consciousness has a profound effect on how I perceive the world around me – my reality, in other words. Knowing that, I choose to focus on the abundance, prosperity, love, peace, health, joy, synergy, and co-operation. I recognize that the more I focus on these things, the more I see them in my life. I love my life and I am grateful for it … for this day, for this moment. With humbling, sincere gratitude, I let go and I let it be. And so it is.

Law Of Attraction And Working With The Law

Friday, September 3rd, 2010

The ‘Law of Attraction’ is the final piece in the series of the ‘11 Forgotten Laws’. It is the one that has been discussed most, so out it is likely not forgotten anymore, especially since The Secret came out. It is summarized, rather elegantly, by the following line: “Never expect what you do not desire, and never desire what you don’t expect.” You get in life what you expect from it, so expect the things you want.

Now that you have had an introduction to all the 11 Laws, you can start living in harmony with them. The good thing is that there is a fair amount of overlap between the different Laws, so when you truly understand one, you are pretty close to understanding all of them.

Again, keep in mind that these Laws do not require your acceptance to play a role in your life. If you are skeptical as to the validity of these Laws, then simply try the following exercise: pick one of the Laws and apply it for 30 days. If you don’t notice any improvement in your life, let it go. If you do, however, keep applying it and see what else you can do with it. Have a good long weekend!

The Law Of Obedience

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010

The ‘Law of Obedience’’ is the next in the series of ‘The 11 Forgotten Laws’ that should expand our understanding of the Law of Attraction. The core idea behind the Law of Obedience is that we must respect the Universal Laws and work in harmony with them in order to achieve the results we want. Disrespecting them by trying to work against the Laws shall leave us tired and frustrated.

We must realize and remember that Laws just are. They do not require our understanding, recognition, praise, or acceptance in order to work. They always work, for everyone, in every situation – no exceptions. Efforts to change this are futile. The only thing that we can do is to gain the understanding of how the different Universal Laws work and start working with them so that we can get predictable results. Without understanding, it’s hit and miss all the time.

The Law Of Compensation

Wednesday, September 1st, 2010

The ‘Law of Compensation’’ is the next in the series of ‘The 11 Forgotten Laws’ that should expand our understanding of the Law of Attraction. Bob Proctor puts the Law of Compensation like this: “What you are getting is a result of the efforts you are putting out there. If you want to have better results, you have to think of a new or better way to deliver that value. You must become the person of value to receive anything of value.” In other words, you attract what and who you are into your life.

This relates to another idea that “you attract what you are, but you you become what you think about.” So there is always that delay between when you change your thinking, how you view yourself and the world, and the corresponding attraction that takes place. So if you change your thinking and nothing seems to be happening, don’t worry about it so fast. Let it take place in your life.
