Earlier this week I wrote a post on how we live in a perfect Universe and how our ability to bring that into our experience is directly related to our ability to internalize that very idea. I also want to define what I mean by ’spiritual’ in this case. You may have a different definition, but to me being ’spiritual’ means being in alignment with the Universe and Its Laws. So if I want to check how spiritual I am, I just need to look at my results. If the results reflect what I want, then I am being spiritual.
The logic here is pretty simple, and you may see it already. Results are essentially a measure of my spirituality. My ability to create in the physical plane is directly related to how well I embody and understand the Creative Process. So as my understanding becomes deeper, I get better at directing and focusing my energy and at knowing the Truth of my being, and as that happens, the automatic Universal response will be closer to what I want to create, thus my results will be more bang on. It forms a nice loop, in a way. I hope that makes sense!

Today is a milestone of sorts – this is blog entry 100!! “Thank you, thank you, please sit down!”. A day like this deserves a great post.
This is one of those simple, yet so profound concepts that have really resonated with me. It is the idea that I do not need to compel, force, reason with, or convince the Universe to work. Instead, all I need to do is to think, feel, and act in accord with Its Laws and Principles, the Universe will respond willingly, automatically, and harmoniously each and every time. In the physical world, we know that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. I think that the same principle applies. The Universal Intelligence works like a computer that has all of the answers and knows all of the ways – sort of like the Internet on crack – and we can beg it to give us an answer all that we want with no results. We need to enter an appropriate command and we’ll get a corresponding answer. Very simple, but difficult, for me anyway, to truly internalize.
I have been nurturing this concept in my mind for the last several weeks and am only starting to feel like I am internalizing it. It was one of those things that really jumped out at me. I think it’s something that I understood intellectually but failed to believe deep down inside. In that feeling place I still felt like the Universe had a choice of whether or not to act on my thoughts, feelings, and actions and that it could act with half-effort. Not so! It acts automatically because it is one of the Universal Laws. When you really get this, if you are anything like me, it will be one of the most liberating experiences! This is a really cool concept to truly GET!

Yesterday I wrote about how the perfect Universe needs to be seen mentally before it can become a part of our experience. What that says to me is the need for a bigger idea of myself, my relationships, my contributions, my productivity, my community, my country, and my world. There has been a lot of talk lately about the ‘bigger new idea’ from several sources, and it is the concept that I have spent many hours contemplating. It is a predominant thought that is in my mind. I see my entire experience being a result of my past ideas, thus by having a ‘bigger idea’ now, I can create a ‘bigger experience’ in all aspects of my life.
So what is this ‘bigger idea’? To me the process of coming up with a ‘bigger idea’ is the very process of removing self-imposed limiting beliefs. That is why I am dedicating a lot of time and energy to this very topic. Our beliefs guide our life, and it’s like that saying goes “it’s not what you don’t know that will hurt you, it’s what you know that isn’t true”. Many people work the job they dislike because they do not see another option. Many people are in destructive relationships because they think it’s normal and do not see another possibility. It’s like that with all aspects of life, and you need to ask yourself, “who said this has to be like this?” and “how do they know?” to start breaking out of that pattern. And in the process you will discover a bigger idea that you can start to live from.

In the Science of Mind book I found a very interesting line that says that we already live in a Perfect Universe, but it needs to be seen mentally before It can become part of our experience. I thought that it is a perfect way to express the need for evolution of our individualized consciousness. It is exactly what the people who are going through the conscious growth and expansion, who I have had the privilege to talk to, say.
The Universe is perfect and it is precise. There are rules in place that govern how things work. These rules are impersonal and work every time. It’s like with investing – it doesn’t matter who invests their money in at 10%, 7 years later their investment will double. And it also does not matter what the person will use the money for afterwards. And the rule, or Law, that I am fascinated with, is the one of Attraction, which is activated through thought and feeling. And because we are the constant producers of thoughts and feelings, the concept that we live in a perfect Universe truly needs to be seen mentally before It can become part of our experience. If you want to see lack, you will experience lack. If you want to see abundance, you will experience abundance. And if you don’t want to see lack, you will still experience lack, since the Universe takes the absolute value of your thoughts and feelings, and since they are about lack, you will get lack. So I look for health, abundance, happiness, and love. Period.

Sit comfortably, take a few breaths as you settle in, and this is what I know:
I know that this is an Intelligent Universe where Creative Intelligence expresses Itself through immutable Law. At the Source, there are infinite possibilities and no limitation, expressed as a soup of probabilities. Once a thought is introduced, all the probabilities collapse where one thing remains – the manifestation that is a perfect reflection of the original thought. This manifestation is the action of the Law – perfect, precise, willing, and impersonal. I know that I speak the Truth for myself and for every other person when I recognize that my creative intelligence is an extension of the One Creative Intelligence, and although I am individualized, I have within all of the qualities of the One, much like my single cell has the DNA road-map for my entire physical body. As I recognize this Truth, as I recognize that I am same as Spirit, I realize that all the limitations are the beliefs created in my mind. The Universe does not know lack, only abundance; It does not know sickness, only perfect well-being; It does not know ‘no’, only a resounding ‘YES’. Thus, I am abundance, I am well-being, I am the resounding YES! In this perfect moment, as I feel unified, I know that my consciousness is expanding to a place of better understanding and a place of a much bigger idea. I am open and receptive to ideas and inspiration that come as a result of my growing consciousness and the flow of the Divine Energy, and I am ready and willing to take the required action steps to complete the creative process. I am grateful for my realization of the Truth, for my recognition of Unity, for my appreciation of the Law. I am thankful for the fact that I do not need to compel the Law into action and that my job is only to direct energy in the desired direction. With perfect belief, I release my words, knowing that the Universe is responding automatically, and so it is!

I had a discussion with a friend of mine about whether defining the result that you are after with precision provides clarity or limitation. And this is something that I would love to get your feedback on. The background for the discussion is as follows. The Universe responds to your intentions by presenting you with a quickest and most harmonious way to your goal. The trick is that you need to pay attention and actually notice the opportunity. It’s like Bob Proctor said in one of his seminars, that in retrospect he has been in the right place at the right time many times, it’s just that in that moment he was not aware that he was in the right place at the right time. Another thing to note is that the Universe does not always respond in expected ways – there were many times that I did get to my goal but not in the way that I thought it would happen. Our role is to know ‘what’ we want while the ‘hows’ are the domain of the Universe.
As an example, let’s talk about about goal relating to relationships, but you can pick another goal. When we talk about a goal, we can be very precise or very general. For instance, you can say that you seek a connection with another human being, or you can say that you want to have friendship, or a romantic relationship in general, or you can describe your ‘ideal mate’ in a lot of detail. As you can see, as we go from the connection to the description of an ‘ideal mate’, we get more and more clarity while, at the same time, putting more and more restrictions.
So I wonder, what is your view on defining what you want at great length? Is it clarity or limitation?

Yesterday I spoke about dwelling on a result versus knowing the result as your reality. Ever since I have watched The Secret, I have been very impressed by the concept of applying the Law of Attraction to parking spots. I have had mixed experiences with this. Even before watching The Secret, I always parked close to the doors at my gym. Somehow I just knew that that is where I would park. And the funny thing is, it’s like those spots were reserved for me. Someone would ALWAYS leave just before I got there, even during peak hours where most people parked a good distance away. But that was the only place where I was able to get a parking spot that I wanted consistently.
Pretty much in every other case, it wasn’t that simple. I would either have to circle the block several times, or wait for a while, or just park elsewhere entirely. A good friend of mine, on the other hand, has a parking spot reserved for him wherever he goes. It’s amazing! I was in a car several times when we’d be going for dinner or a movie and he would drive by an available parking spot, literally 10 meters away from the door, only to have the car right in front of the door drive out and leave.
Since the realization I spoke about yesterday, things have changed dramatically when it comes to parking. Now I have been able to manifest a parking spot right in front of the doors several times. The big difference is that now I simply know where I am going to park. Before, though, I kept picturing the car leaving and in reality only hoping that the parking spot would be available. And on a deeper level, I was worried that the parking spot would not be there. No wonder I had some trouble with manifesting what I wanted! Now though, I know how to do it the right way.
Am I the only one who thinks this is really cool?

Today I would like to touch on a point that there is no need to dwell on a particular result – instead just know that the result you seek is a ‘done deal’. This came out of a conversation last week with a friend of mine, which I found very applicable to my life, so I thought I’d share that with you.
Prior to this, I would actually give a lot of conscious thought to the result I was seeking. I would picture it happening this way, then I would picture it having that way, acting as if the Universe was more likely to respond if I visualized the result 100 times. An interesting thing occurred during that entire process of visualization – I developed doubt in my mind. I know that sounds backwards, but it makes sense – I do not visualize having breakfast 100 times because I KNOW that I will have breakfast, so why would it be any different for something else? Then I was doing the homework for the Science of Mind class and a concept that I have seen before a dozens of times jumped out at me – the Universe responds automatically and trying to coerce It restricts the natural flow of energy in the process.
So right there and then I decided that I would pay more attention to whether I am dwelling or not and I have had an interesting, almost immediate, set of manifestations, but more on that tomorrow.

Today I would like to share another visualization with you that I took from one of Tony Robbins’ tape programs. It is a visualization that should be done at the beginning of your day since it is supposed to build the day to come. Here is what you do:
Picture yourself at the end of the day, and see yourself looking back at the entire day that just ‘passed’. Look back at the meetings that you have had during that day with the desired outcome. Reflect back on the calls that you made and the responses of the people on the other end of the line. Think back on the family dinner and the warm, loving, invigorating conversations that occurred. Reflect back on all the tasks that you finished during the day and all the things that you accomplished. Pretty much look at all the areas of your day as already complete with the desired outcome.
When you are finished remembering your day, come back to the present moment and feel excited about the day you are about to live. Make it your intention to build your day in your reality much like you just did in your mind. At this point you should be pretty energized to live your day to the fullest! Repeat the next morning!

Happy Monday! Join me in knowing if you so desire, because this is what I know…
I know that there is really only One thing happening. One Energy, One Consciousness, One Intelligence, One Love. And Consciousness has only one purpose – to expand, to grow – and it is the starting point of all form. I know that the Universal Law governs the expression of Consciousness as form, that this Law is immutable and is impersonal, and that it works each and every time with no exceptions. I understand the Law to be like the fertile soil that nurtures and grows ANY seed planted in it and turns it into a plant; except that our thoughts and feelings are the seeds and manifestations are the plants. I recognize that my physical experience also originated in Consciousness and that I am an individualized expression of the One Energy, One Consciousness, One Intelligence, One Love. Through this recognition I allow myself to tap into and utilize the unlimited power of the Universe and open myself to a clearer connection with the Universal Intelligence. I am deeply grateful for the understanding of the Universal Law and for the recognition that there is really only One thing happening and for my expanding consciousness. I release my words, knowing that my intentions are manifested automatically and harmoniously in accord with the Law, and allow the Universe to work through me, for me. And so it is.
